Changing Bed Linens?

Question:Ok I no this is a strange Question.but I change my linens either daily or every other day. I was told by some that this is to often but I don't see the harm in it. My question is how often are you suppose to change your bed linens and isn't this really a personal choice or is there some rule I am unaware of?

Answers:
It is a personal preference. No one can say what is right for you. I believe the "norm" is once a week but I'm sure you're not the only one who changes them more often. I was watching "Oprah" and she said she has hers changed daily. (If I had her money, I'd have mine changed daily too!)

maybe that person is a amateur environmentalists or thinks u r wasting ur time. i think its good. keeps the bedbugs, sweat and accumulated dead skin out.
Once a week, is the norm. There isn't any harm in it, it'll just wear your bedlinens faster.
I think, traditionally, personal bed linens are done once a week. You know, Monday (or whatever day you wish), is washing day for your sheets.

Of course, guest room bed linens are done after/before the next guests.
i think it's a personal choice but it sounds kind of frequent. i would have to agree that once a week for personal linens is the norm... unless u r getting them dirty or something.
I am an everyday or every second day kinda gal. I used to live in a colder climate and did it every 3 days. I now live in the tropics, and you do sweat and drool at night, so I use this as an excuse to have clean sheet day every day. There is nothing better than clean fresh smelling sheets to crawl into after a big lousy day. It makes all your problenms go away. "Hail clean sheet day". I am a bit of a freak and also Iron mine before I but them on the bed... nothing wrong with clean fresh smelling sheets with no wrinkles.for now anyways.
Oprah seems to be a pretty clean person and has professionals who help do her laundry. Her sheets are changed every 4 days (yes, I watch way too much TV). You will ruin your sheets much faster by washing them as often as you are doing. If you take a shower at night, your sheets can go longer w/out changing but on average the "right" amount of time is about a week.
