What can I clean my laminated hardwood floor with that won't leave streaks?

Question:I have a semi gloss finish on my hardwood birch floors- I've tried Murphy's Oil, diluted Simple Green and Minwax hardwood floor cleaner- all leave a haze/ streaky finish. I'm not looking for shine- just clean.

Answers:
Best way is with very hot water , the hotter the water , the faster the floors will dry , and will leave no streaks. Sometimes the more cleaning products you had to floors and furniture , the more dull finish they leave be-hide

Very hot water with a little vinegar added. Sponge type mops seem to leave more streaks and residue. I use a Quickie Twist Mop. It's the best and most durable mop I've had in years and works great on my laminate and ceramic tile.

Another thing I've done to remove the haze from my laminate is use a dust mop, adding some pressure and buffing the floor, or use some clean, soft towels and skate around the room to remove the haze. Prevention is best, but in a pinch these methods can make the floor look much better.
I use a 2:1 mixture of windex and water in a spray bottle. I spray a small area and wipe it up with a clean dish cloth attached to my swiffer. The windex helps the water dry faster. And yeah, everything else I've tried left horrible streaks on my laminate wood floor.
