Kitchen Gril Grease!! :((?
Question:Can anyone suggest how to clean up this grease around the burner which would just not go!
Answers:
I would suggest either trying Dawn or white distilled vinegar. Vinegar is a great, natural way to cut through grease.
Steel wool and 409.
Soak the grease build-up in straight white vinegar. Scrub with a non-abrasive pad. Rinse well, and repeat if necessary.
try that stuff that auto mechanics use Orange something
it comes in a short round jar
we moved into a rental once that the stove hadnt been cleaned in a while and it worked great
Mix baking soda and coarse salt together with dishwashing liquid until it makes a paste. Coat the burner sides liberally with this paste and let it sit a while. Then wipe with a damp cloth.
If that doesn't work try white vinegar or lemon juice - being sure to wipe it up afterwards. The acid should cut the grease.
Try Easy Off. I love that stuff. Not only does it work great in your oven...but I use it on my burners and sometimes really gross pans. Just make sure to wash the crap out of them before eating from it (a run through the dishwasher works).
Apply Baking soda, and a touch of water, either scrub really hard with your finger, or a piece of scotch brite. Works really well!
Depends on the surface. Different surfaces require different stuff. If it's on the burner itself you can usually just scrape it off, but you wouldn't want to do that on a coated countertop...
We need more information, but the best degreasers are dish soap and whatever is in 409.
oven cleaner works great
With enough warm water to cover the stain, then add a spoonful of baking powder, leave for 10 min“s Wash with your dish washing soap also great for burnt pots and pans
