HELP! how do you get pink highlighter marker out of light tan pants?
Question:
Answers:
1. wear the pants inside out
2. cut the fabric that has the marker on it so there's no more stain
3. Try Zout - it got my navy uniform whites inspection ready and was gentler than bleach -
4. Try dry cleaning.
If it's "fresh" you might be able to use Shout or a similar product. If it's set, it won't come out. Maybe you could dye the pants to cover it!
put some detg right on it..rub it in..allow to sit for about 15 mins..wash as usual..highlighter comes out pretty easily
If it hasn't already been washed I use Hair Spray to get ink out of fabrics. Make sure the hair spray contains alcohol it seems to work the best.
The best thing i have found (though I have not tried it on highlighter) Is the stain remover that comes with the Dryel at home dry cleaning kit. There are pads inside and a bottle of cleaning fluid. Follow the instructions in the box (don't forget to test a hidden spot<though i have never faound anything that faded when I have used it>)
This took Ink out of my mother's 30 year old white wedding dress. And I have used it countless times on everything from grape juice to ink to grass and oil stains.
USE OXY- ITS THE BEST...i MIGHT JUST WORK FOR HIGHLIGHTER- I USE IT TO WASH LIGHT CLOTHING THAT I CANT PUT BLEACH ON AND ALSO MY BABY'S CLOTHES & BLANKETS THAT HAVE FORMULA & S**T STAINS, IT WORKS VERY WELL.
GOOD LUCK!
Try rubbing alcohol, take 1/4Th cup of alcohol and 2/4 cup of cold water, and a squirt of dish washing detergent, and a clean sponge, dip the sponge in the solution, and then gently rub onto the mark, rinse and do it again. hope this helps
