How do I get deodorant stains out of my husbands shirt?

Question:In the underarm of a few of my husbands work shirts there is a stiff white stain that I can not get out. I have tried soaking it in water (hot and cold), letting it sit in soap overnight, and different kinds of soap (everything I have in my house). Unfortnatly I can't throw away any of these shirts because they are part of his uniform. Any ideas?

Answers:
Do a pre-soak in your washing machine.. Place them (color sorted of course) into the wash with hot or warm water depending on fabric and color.. add 2 cups of white vinegar and allow them to soak for about an hour, then wash them as you normally would with only about a half scoop of powder detergent.. DO NOT HEAT DRY them in the Dryer until the stains are gone.. You can also make a paste of baking soda and water and rub into the stains in a circular motion, let the paste sit for about an hour.. wipe off and wash as you normally would.. AVOID LIQUID FABRIC SOFTENER! This is an oil based product that will only add to the stains.. Underarm stains are body oils.. so the vinegar will work great! Good luck

unfortunately it wont come out..you need to switch his deo..my partner..has this problem with his tshirts...and its his deo...we can throw them away so he has never had to switch the deo..
Have you considered a new husband?
spray some white vinegar on the stain let sit for an hour and wash on warm. Don't dry the shirt until the stain is gone, you will set the stain. Bleach may need to be resorted to.
im not sure, but..in future you could get him rock salt from the health food shop or supermarket. when he uses this it will not only stop odour for 24hours but it wont stain clothes either. this rock salt lasts up to a year. i use it and so does my partner and his friends. i swear by it and no more stained shirts. if he wants to smell good, then by some body spray. hope this helps :)
Try soaking them in powdered oxiclean and water over night.
