In a rush - can I throw my bra in the dishwasher with the dishes?
Question:Seems like a time-saver!
Answers:
I have heard of washing ball caps in the upper rack of the dishwasher. Should be O.K. I wouldn't tell your dinner guests.
Dishwasher chemicals are much harsher than laundry detergent...plus you might be affected by the chemicals and they sure won't dry well in the dishwasher.
If it's an underwired bra, it will damage the bra. Even if it was a washing machine, you should only handwash bras with underwires.
And yes, dishwashing liquids have harsher chemicals not specifically designed to suit skin. You may regret if you do get an allergy to the chemicals.
Interesting question. No, why would you? It's not like you only have one bra..Wear another one! :)
I wouldn't as the high temperatures would not be good for the lace, satin, and elastics in the bra. The dishwasher soaps are made for plastics, glass, etc. not fabrics.
