How to get rid of lint/fuzzballs on new towels?

Question:I bought some burgundy colored towels at Kohl's and washed them before using them. When I dried off after a shower, there were red fuzzballs EVERYWHERE on the floor and all over me. I have washed and dried them at least 4 more times now, but still red little fuzzballs. Not quite as bad, but still there. What can I do to get rid of them?

Answers:
lint brush or a good cold water wash

You can get those lint rollers, they are the business
that happened to me when we bought dark blue towels!! i was like "omg wtf??"

you just have to wash them a couple hundred times.. thats really the only way they will finally go away...

sadly it makes them less fluffy
