How to remove oil pen from clothes?

Question:I just pulled a load of clothes out of the dryer and there was an oil crayon / pen thingy in there that melted all over all our pants and I have no idea how to get them out. Please help, I'm so overwhelmed, I don't know what to do!

Answers:
If it is a stain you are trying to remove, try dabbing the stains with a cloth dampened with mineral spirits. Keep changing the cloth frequently as you dab up the ink. When you have removed as much as you can get, toss the clotehs into the washer, add a scoop of OXY-Clean and let the washer run through the first cycle, then allow the garmets to soak for awhile, keep checking to see if the stain is gone. Once it has finally come out, complete the wash cycle.

In your dryer, you may also have stains on the drum. Try wiping these with a cloth dampened with mineral spirits as well, and allow to dry. If you do not remove the pots in the dryer (if any) you'll just end up with the stuff on your clothes again.

Good Luck!

take a little automatic powdered dish soap and enough water to make a past... put some on the stain and brush with an old tooth brush.... on both sides of the stain. then rinse well ----- I have found this works good.
